How to Install AK47 Sports on Android TV
Android TV ships without a browser or file manager, so sideloading needs a transfer helper — and the app may install without appearing on your home row.
Why Android TV is different
The TV build of Android has no default browser, no default file manager and a launcher that only lists apps declaring a leanback intent. Every extra step below exists because of one of those three facts.
Route 1: local network transfer
1.Install a TV file manager
From the Play Store on the TV itself, so you have something that can open a local file.
2.Put both devices on the same network
Phone and TV must be on the same subnet. Guest networks and client isolation break this silently.
3.Send the APK to the TV
Use the file manager's network receive feature or a network share. Confirm the transferred file size matches the original.
4.Open the file on the TV
Allow the file manager to install unknown apps when prompted, then confirm the install.
Route 2: USB storage
1.Copy the APK to a FAT32 or exFAT drive
Some TV boxes will not mount NTFS volumes at all.
2.Insert and open the drive
Browse to the file with your TV file manager and open it.
3.Install and eject
Confirm the install, then eject the drive from Settings → Storage rather than pulling it out.
Remote-control limitations
Phone-oriented apps running on a TV often expect touch input. Directional-pad focus can skip buttons entirely, leaving parts of the interface unreachable. An air-mouse remote or the Android TV remote app's touchpad mode works around this.
Navigation difficulty with a standard D-pad on phone-layout streaming apps is widely described in user discussions across many such apps, not specific to any one of them.
Worth knowing: An APK without a LEANBACK_LAUNCHER intent installs correctly but never appears in the Android TV app row; it must be launched from Settings → Apps or a sideload launcher.
