Editorial Policy

How articles here are researched, verified, updated and corrected.

Research

Every article begins from the specific question a reader is asking. We establish what is documented by platform vendors, what is claimed by distribution material, and what only user reports describe — then keep those three categories visibly separate in the published text.

Verification

Platform behaviour is checked against vendor documentation and, where feasible, on a device. Software-specific claims we cannot reproduce are labelled rather than repeated as fact.

Screenshots

Any screenshot we publish is captured by us on a device we name. We do not reuse images from other sites or from distribution pages.

Updates

Articles carry a published date and a last-updated date. Substantive revisions update the second date; typographical fixes do not.

Use of AI tools

AI tools may assist with research summarisation, outlining and copy editing. They do not replace editorial verification, and no article is published without a human check of every factual claim and every verification label.

Independence

We accept no payment for coverage, placement or favourable framing, and we do not participate in APK download affiliate arrangements.
